Additional information will be exchanged though personal messages after the auction. 2003 Chevy Silverado K1500 Z71 (CODE NAME SIL-V)I purchased SIL-V (my first vehicle) from the Borcherding Pontiac Buick and GMC Dealer at Kings Auto Mall in Montgomery OH on August 13th 2007. At that point she had 65. 01 miles on her and what appeared to be a "clean" Carfax. I later discovered that the drivers side door was not original but I'll get into the cosmetic damage later. If you are looking for a vehicle thats in mint condition. keep looking:) Although this vehicle is used. has high mileage and has cosmetic damage it's a soldier of a pick-up truck that runs (see the youtube video). Iv'e squeezed as many photos on this listing as Ebay will allow. your standard front. three-quarter. profile. rear and interior shots along with close ups of the damage on the passengers side. I got an estimate from a few local collison centers awhile ago and it's roughly 8k to 12k worth of cosmetic damage. yeah. Again. if you need a truck for work or for play and your looking for a deal. look no further. I'm the second owner of this truck and since I've owned it I've had 4 accidents in it 3 of which I was NOT at fault for (that's another 3 stories). The selling point here is that its inexpensive and it works. Also if you look at the photos there is a lot of plastic along the edges of the passengers side doors. The purpose of the tape and layered plastic is to keep out the elements and you'd be suprised how effective its been. There is no water damage to the interior and you'll notice in some of the photos the amount of dried tape stuck to the paint. This is evidence of the tape/plastic combo at work covering the gaps. The stereo interface is damaged but the stereo speakers/10' subwoofers work perfectly. You'll also notice on the passenger side interior a door panel has been removed (and is laying on the floor). This is because at some point. months after the last accident the door sensor suddenly thought that the passenger door was ajar and the interior lights wouldn't shut off. I ended up taking the truck to a local mechanic to disconnect the passenger side door sensor. Since then (recently) SIL-V has gotten a brand new Interstate Megatron II battery (one of the best). The engine has recieved Cerma Engine treatment and has had many full synthetic (Royal Purple) oil changes (except this last/most recent one). The thrill is gone and I cant afford to fix her anymore.
