I've owned the Matador X for 10 years and along the way I made changes hear and there to the vehicle. Unfortunately I have to sell I could no longer afford to have to many projects. It was intended to be a replica race car of what Bobby Allison Drove in his Nascar Days when he drove and AMC Matador in his 74 75 season hence the #12 painted on the doors. But time money and interest just couldn't complete what Iwanted to do. It runs and drives currently with a oil leak coming from rear main seal. The body is rough with rust spots in corners and edges of the vehicle. Paint is faded. I've owned the car for 10 years and I did a lot of work on the vehicle for 10 years. I kept a lot of receipts that I've done to Matador. Some of the changes that were made is switching from a 304 motor to a 401 motor. Changed out the Cam for more of a high performance Cam through Summit Racing. I also changed out the lifters and went with an edelbrock intake manifold and carburetor. Headman Headers were installed along with Flowmaster Super 44 installed with dual Tips. It Has a Brand New AC Delco Battery. MSD Ignition Coil. Summit Racing HEI Distributor. A Brand New Powermaster Mini Starter. MSD 6AL ignition Box. Auto Meter Gauges. and Hurst Pistol Grip shifter. Majority of the work were top end motor stuff. Mileage currently sits at 16. 80 not original miles. I have spare parts and repair manual for the Matador. I did keep all the receipts and paperwork for the Matador. I have 3 sets of keys that go with it also. NO RESERVE LET'S GO. I swapped out some different pictures to how solid the condition of the matador is floorboards. shocktower. underneath carriage. and Headliner.
