WE'VE PULLED THE RESERVE. AND. IN RESPONSE TO SEVERAL REQUESTS TO OFFER THESE 2 CARS ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS. I CAN TELL YOU THAT. IF WE DID RELIST THEM SEPARATELY. HERE IS HOW THEY WOULD BE PRICED:The '59 El Camino would be $68. 00 firm. Note: With OUR personal restoration work and expenditures we honestly have more than $100. 00 in it. The one-of-a-kind '59 Edsel Corsair RETRACTABLE would be $62. 00. ((( Note: The 1960 DeSoto Adventurer we had listed in an earlier more-than-one-car auction sold privately to a gentleman in Denmark. ))) Health issues dictate it's time to find new homes for at least these 2 cars. Both have been very carefully and thoroughly reconditioned and maintained. Both are virtually rust free. Both have newer paint. newer interiors. complete engine & transmission rebuilds. top of the line radial tires. newer exhaust. newer brakes. most if not ALL new steering and suspension components. new shocks. newer batteries. halogen headlights. plus all fuel tank. fuel pump and carburetor concerns have been addressed. Close to all stainless trim and bumpers have been polished and/or rechromed. They were both in outstanding condition when we purchased them. and have been continually upgraded as we enjoyed them for the past several years. They both have AC (the Edsel's is factory). This 1959 Edsel Corsair retractable has had a professionally fitted. all stock retractable roof from a 1959 Ford Skyliner precisely installed. and it works like a charm. and it has a flashy '59 Galaxie 500 interior. It is correctly built on a '59 Ford Skyliner chassis. The motor is a powerful. rebuilt 361. 4 bbl. It has the dual stage transmission. It also has new front disc brakes. It has a Town & Country radio. a working driver's side spotlight/mirror. and TWO radial spare tires (because of the new front disc brake rotors). Talk about knocking peoples' socks off at a cruise-in! It has all the meaningful 1959 Edsel factory options and is an absolutely super car to drive. To some it might look slightly better without the continental kit. which. of course. is removable. This stunning 1959 El Camino has pretty much all the options you could order for a '59 Impala. - This car was a 100% complete. off-frame rotissoire restoration - with a late '60s 327 (with a light cam upgrade). under a new Edelbrock 650 4 bbl. and tied to a beefed up 350 Turbo (on the floor). even with its 331 rear end it boogies. I-pod ready AM-FM cassette. smaller steering wheel - TILT. custom floor console. PW. PS-(605). PB. Tinted glass. new bucket seats done in correct '59 Impala cloth (looks fantastic). amber fog lights (where the bumper guards go). cruise control. fiberglass deck lid with electric release hidden inside vehicle. NEW exactly correct bed liner - with heavy duty rubber mat and corvette grade carpet over all. Box lights up around periphery for "after dark" activities. American mags with 11" rear and 9" front rubber. Beautiful custom gold-jeweled tape in beltline stainless. Foxy gold silk "El Camino" embroidered into the package tray. Spare tire cleverly installed where tire well was. New rubber bumper guards go with it - (there are amber fog lights there now). All digital dash. but a freshly painted-to-match gauge cluster and near mint original (red) hood go with it. The roof. mag spokes. and side-stainless trim are all in gold. while the balance of the car is a drop dead gorgeous 2012-ish GM sunburst pearl. (actually a Saturn color. ) Has won several trophies. And. most importantly - both have an ooooga-horn! This "2-car collection" price is much less than we have in it. A common claim. but it's definitely true. We have the receipts to prove this. We're hoping to find them both a new GOOD home. No warranties go with either. of course. we have clear titles to both. and they will need to be paid for in full before being taken away.
