For sale is the very rare Triumph TR8. If you are reading this add. you probably know the history and rarity of the TR8. This particular example have been mostly restored by a novice. It is not a concourse car. The body gaps are not right. the interior. while new. is not correct either. The paint is new and shiny and is a 20 footer. The tires are in good shape. Mechanically. the car runs. but it needs a master cylinder. The brakes work. but the fluid leaks out of the reservoir as fast as you put it in. The clutch also works. but the line going to the slave is rotten. The engine does run with no smoke. but the holley carb that has been fitted does not have a proper throttle cable bracket. The lights work but needs a switch. The gauges do not work. This would make somebody who wants a project. nbsp;to be a driver. a great car. as a lot of the expense has been done. It needs the kinks worked out and you are on your way. If you are looking for a show car. a full restoration will be needed. I am trying to represent this car as well as I can. It is not a total basket case. and I bought it off a guy who was driving it. I own a European auto repair facility. nbsp;I have lost my desire to restore cars.
