1968 TRIUMPH GT-6 Convertible

You are bidding on a running example of a 1968 Triumph GT-6 convertible that utilizes a GT-6 frame and engine coupled to a 1968 Triumph Spitfire unrusted body (Ca. car) . The front hood is a GT-6 MKI hood that fits (needs re-finishing). river door has a dent. o its been fitted with a later replacement that fits but is white . ot BRG. The car is fitted with Miata bucket seats that work but look out of place. The body is painted in BRG (British racing Green ) that looks good . rear valance below trunk needs some paint. The engine is a stock GT-6 engine with good compression and overall condition. uses Stromberg carbs (sans air filters) and has a chrome valve cover. exhaust is sent thru split side-pipes (un -mounted). The wiring still needs some finishing work. the harness is in but not everything is hooked up (there is a spare complete harness). It has all lights except rear side markers and front signal-parking lites. as rear wrap around bumper-no front bumper or lower apron. The windshield is excellent. factory hardtop is from later car but fits by repositioning 4 mount holes. as good glass and vent windows. The has front disc brakes(one needs pad). ear drum brakes (comes with new set of shoes). brake needs adjustment. Clutch slave cylinder needs replacement ($35. 00) and system flushed and bled. Front wheels are stock steel. ne tire needs replaced. Rear wheels are slotted mags in good condition with good tires.
