This car is not for the type who wants a perfect trailer queen rebuilt from the ground up-if that is you. call us. we have two TR6s that we are just about through restoring. which are far beyond the price of this car. However. if you want an affordable. reliable toy for the spring that you can enjoy now and tinker with over the years. this car is perfect. Add in the fact that you will simply not find many TR6's at this price point that are not rust-buckets and this car becomes a very attractive proposition. The blue interior is all original and it is getting tired. Again. while it still looks decent. it really wants to be done at some point. When that point is will vary depending on your priorities and preferences. The top however is just about brand new and it seals well. The paint is best described as fair. but it really looks fantastic from five feet. You know the story. you get up close and there are quite a few imperfections. but there is no way you can tell when you first open the garage. The previous owner says the car gets loads of compliments. All of the chrome work on the car is in good condition with very minimal pitting. Some of the rubber trim is hardened and likely wants to be replaced at some point. Mechanically. the car makes great oil pressure and sounds awesome with the stainless quad exhaust. Just a perfect car to jump in and go on a weekend cruise. There is a very minimal oil drip. If you leave it for a day after driving there will be a small spot. Certainly not anywhere near the worst. just not ideal. All of the wheels are straight and original and the tires are in good condition. At some point the car was in an accident of some sort as there is evidence of a frame repair up front. but otherwise the car looks very good underneath. The car goes down the road straight and true.
