I BOUGHT THIS CAR IN 2014 AND EVERYTHING WAS NEW AT THAT TIME. ENTIRE DRIVE LINE IS OUT OF A TRUE 1967 FAIRLANE GT. RARE 330 HP 390 "GT" MOTOR, OP LOADER 4 SPD, INCH POSI TRAC WITH 350 GEARS. ALUMINUM RADIATOR, OWER STEERING, DELBROCK CARB., URST SHIFTER, RONT DISC BRAKES. FRONT SUSPENSION WAS ALL REPLACED WITH CORRECT NEW 390 SUSPENSION PARTS. FRONT BUCKETS ARE OUT OF 2005 MUSTANG, OWER MOVEMENT AND LUMBAR ALL WORK, EADLINER IS NEW. BOTTOM SIDE OF CAR IS RUST FREE AND SOLID. EXTERIOR COLOR IS KIA "RADIANT RED". PAINT IS VERY GOOD BUT DOES HAVE SEVERAL SMALL BLEMISHES. I HAVE PUT ABOUT 1,000 MILES ON THIS AND IT RUNS DOWN THE ROAD VERY WELL. IT COMMANDS A LOT OF ATTENTION AND QUESTIONS AT ALL EVENTS. THERE ARE JUST SO FEW OF THESE 2 DOOR SEDANS LEFT ON THE ROAD AND ONLY A FEW PEOPLE KNOW THE HISTORY OF THE 1967 "427" SEDANS THAT DOMINATED DRAG RACING FOR SEVERAL YEARS. CAR DOES HAVE A FEW AREAS THAT NEED ATTENTION; SPEEDOMETER CABLE HAS BROKEN, RAKE PEDAL IS "SOFT" BUT STOPS CAR AS NEEDED (WAS TOLD THAT A DIFFERENT MASTER CYLINDER WOULD FIX IT). STEREO WORKS BUT COULD USE UPGRADE (I NEVER LISTEN TO IT). CARPET COULD BE UP-DATED.
OTHER FEATURES- NEW GAS TANK (2014), LECTRIC FUEL PUMP AT TANK (2014), IR SHOCKS (2014). SHATTER SHIELD BELL HOUSING, REVIOUS OWNER SAID MOTOR, LUTCH, ND TRANSMISSION WERE ALL FRESH WHEN I PURCHASED. MOTOR IS LUBRICATED WITH "ROYAL PURPLE". I HAVE HAD MY FUN WITH THIS CAR AND IT IS TIME TO PASS IT ON, OULD CONSIDER PARTIAL TRADE FOR 1964 FORD FALCON SPRINT OR FUTURA; MUST BE A V8 AND MUST BE IN VERY GOOD CONDITION. I KNOW SOMEONE WILL ASK, HIS CAR WAS ORIGINALLY A 6 CYLINDER, SPEED MANUAL. THE CONVERSION TO THE BIG BLOCK POWER HOUSE CAR WAS DONE RIGHT ON THIS ONE.
