your looking at a very rare edition of the 68 Chevelle, t's a 2 dr sport coupe concours, ess than 2500 built so if you want a chevelle that will stand out from the crowd here it is, ou will be hard pressed to find another one!
this car features a 327 {325hp} engine,Th350 automatic transmission, nd 10 bolt rear axlepower steering and manual brakes
historyI found on the internet is that in 68 they had a union strike and as the Malibu's sat idle on the line, nd as a resultthe management decided they were going to finish up the run, ell all of a sudden there was a fire at the interior plant that supplied the Malibu interior and they could not get a supply, o GM had Buick supply the interiors for them and of course they didn't produce Chevy interior so they were built with a Buick interior and rebadged as a Concours model which featured a notch back front seat with a fold down arm rest, ifferent pleating in the material, hrome pleated door and rear panels, onger arm rests on the door panels. an oval style steering wheel with horn buttons, pecial wheel lip moldings, nd a woodgrain Concours dash trim, do your homework it's quite very interesting}
I bought this car from the second owner who had it for over 30 years and kept it stored in a garage, e only got it out a few times a year and didn't drive it much at all in the past few years, nd it needed some attention so I gave it the love it needed here is a list of what I have done to the car in the past 6 months*all the interior that was done was by a professional and one of the best in the state! and is all done to exact factory specifications*brand new front seat upholstery *brand new door panels*brand new headliner*brand new carpet*brand new rear package tray*brand new window felt {the fuzzies}rear seat is original and is still in mint conditiondash is original and in excellent conditionthe following was done by a mechanic certified in pre 1972 autos and does restorations*All new front wheel bearings*new front brakes*new rear brakes*new mufflers and dual tail pipes*new door latches and strikersthis car is in perfect driving condition and is ready to enjoy, t features the original color paint {Butternut Yellow} 8" rally wheelsthis is a very nice high quality driver condition car it is not a perfect show car
