1996 Lincoln Mark VIII Diamond Anniversary-In 1996 Lincoln celebrated its 75th anniversary by introducing special Town Cars, ontinentals, nd Mark VIIIs. They were all either Silver Frost or Cordovan (maroon) in color, nd they all had the specific silver interior with cordovan highlights. Only 500 of each model were made. I have all six cars (3 silver and 3 maroon, ne of each model) but health problems are making it difficult to keep all my cars. There are a lot of dealers that advertise every 1996 car as a Diamond Anniversary, ut only 500 were the special models.
This is a 1996 Mark VIII in SilverFrost. Though it is a misconception that they all came loaded with sunroof, tc, hat is not true. However, his one did come with all available options (which weren't many because everything was standard): sunroof, hone, D changer in trunk and of course the special Diamond Anniversary floormats and logos on the quarter windows.
The paint is faded in a few places and a few scratches. It had an aftermarket kit around the rear window and when I replaced the rear window with one that did not have the "waffling" around the rubber the paint peeled taking off the aftermarket kit.
I have a website for these car diamondanniversarylincoln com. It also has the correct paint/interior code on the door label. The last picture is of a VIN report that shows the codes (Only page one-I have page two if wanted)
This car is 20 years old and I am not a dealer so is not sold with any warranty. It is registered and can be driven, o come and drive it and take a test drive.
