At the same time the factory in Varese stopped producing the single cylinder 4-stroke bikes and from now on you could only get 2-stroke single cylinder bikes from AMF Harley-Davidson. Kick-start this Enduro and instantly hear Aermacchis 175cc two-stroke oil-injected single cylinder coupled to a wide-ratio five-speed transmission powering this Harley-Davidson SX-175 for sale. These engines had chrome-bore aluminum cylinders capacitive-discharge ignition systems (CDI) and rubber noise dampers on the cylinder fin. For its time the bike was equipped with some modern features. The upper frame tube is at the same time the oil reservoir for the automatic oil injection system while the oil pump is hidden beneath the left engine cover. These dual-purpose bikes came equipped with cross-braced handle-bars speedometers tachometers International Six Day Trials (ISDT) quick-change rear hubs serrated metal foot pegs high front fenders upswept exhaust with heat shields five-position rear shock absorbers and directional signals.
