1968 Chevy C10 - Original Short Bed, 50 V8, utomatic. Power Steering, isc Brakes, ust Free Original Southern Truck -
NO RESERVE!
I have decided to sell my 1968 Chevy C10. This is a factory original short bed 350 v8 automatic truck. No long bed conversions here. This truck was originally purchased new in middle Georgia where it stayed until I found it. The original owner had began somewhat of a restoration but due to older age, t was never completed. This is not a high quality spotless show truck. It has been redone to my liking and is very easily capable of being made a high class show truck with little work. It is currently my weekend cruiser that I take to the local car shows. It is a very clean example of a "driver" C10. It has not been hacked up or covered with bondo. It is very very solid all around. When not being driven, t says parked in a climate controlled garage away from my house.
The truck has a brand new paint job (dark blue in shadows but it really pops in the sun). Everything was painted including the firewall, oor jams, nsides of the doors, tc. It is a very pretty blue and pictures truly do not do it justice. As far as I can tell, he rocker panels and cab corners are original to the truck. The doors open and close smoothly. There is no rust inside or out, o rust in the floors, o rust in the original steel bed, he frame is spotless and was also coated to prevent any future rust from occurring. Also, n the pictures you will notice that the inner fender wells are missing. I do have them and they will be included with the sale. All new window trim/molding, new windshield, tc. The truck rides on new 17" Ridler 695 wheels and tires. It is lowered 4" in the front and 6" in the rear on aftermarket lowering springs. It rides and handles great. It does not pull left or right, t drives dead straight. Its a very comfortable truck to drive!
The truck has a very smooth running throttle body injected (TBI) 350 V8 out of a 1990 Silverado. Also, he entire front subframe is from a 1990 Silverado (Power disc brakes, lug conversion front and rear, ower steering, tc) The engine fires right up as soon as you hit the key, even when cold. It has never failed to start or left me stranded. It does not leak any fluids. It has an Eldelbrok intake, olley 600 carb, 1" carb spacer, eaders, nd full exhaust. It sounds great. It has a new electric fuel pump and all new fuel lines (powered by a toggle switch), ew brake master cylinder with all new stainless steel brakes lines. It drives and handles like a modern truck and could easily be daily driven if you wanted it to be. The steering is very tight with no play and it does not pull left or right.
Inside of the truck, have had both doors painted to match the outside and installed new door panels to match the seat, ash pad, nd sun visors. The dash and headliner are painted white. It also has new interior black carpet. It has a Pioneer radio with auxilary, luetooth, nd usb options along with new door speakers. All dash lights and gauges work perfectly except for the speedometer which I may have fixed by the time the truck sells. The fuel pump, lectric fans, nd blower motor for the heat are all wired to a toggle switch panel mounted below the ignition.
Overall, his is a GREAT looking, unning, nd driving truck. I will be very sad to see it go but due to other priorities I need to free up some extra cash. I have greatly enjoyed the C10 and I hope the new owner gets as much enjoyment out of her as I have. I hope to see it go to a good home. With that being said, am confident that the market for this truck will speak for itself and I am letting it go with a no reserve. Highest bidder owns the truck. Please make sure you have the funds available prior to bidding. I have a clean and clear Tennessee title in hand. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. Thanks for looking and good luck!
A non-refundable $1000 deposit is due within 24 hours of the auctions ending. This will secure the truck until full payment is received (must be payed within 3 days).
Also if shipping is needed, will be more than happy to help however I can. My last C10 was shipped to New Jersey with no issues. I have also had other vehicles shipped in the past and had no problems. If you are local and would like to see the truck, ou are welcome to.
There are 50+ pictures below, ive them time to load and message me if you need anymore detailed pictures. Thanks.
