2001 HONDA INSIGHT 5-SPEED / BATTERY REPLACED / 73 MPG / REDONE & VERY NICE!

This 2001 5-Speed Honda Insight is in super nice condition! This is a one owner car from Braman, lorida, nd has never seen salt. (You could eat off the engine compartment and bottom of this car, t's soooo clean!) It has a perfectly clean carfax report with no accidents, nd lots of service records shown from the Honda Dealer in Braman, L. (shown below.) The battery pack was replaced a year ago, ired with both a grid charger harness and discharger harness, nd cycled regularly. The pack charges and discharges perfectly. The transmissionhas been serviced and does not grind at all, n any gear, p or down, t any speed. I havedone a lot of work and restoreda lot on this insight, oth mechanically and cosmetically. Some of which includes: some paint and buffing, ll underbelly panels, iper arms and wipers, eat covers, hampooed ALL carpeting, eats and door panels, eplaced worn out window switches, indow regulator, enter net, ransmission service, ransmission fluid, hifter knob, oot pedal covers, et sanded and polished both headlights, rip meter circuit board, obil 1 0w-20 motor oil and filter (0 miles,) air cleaner, gr plate cleaning, gr valve, lugs, ear wing, ide mirror, ear view mirror, nterior door handles, peakers, loor mats, ear hatch release actuator, xterior door trim on both sides, tc, tc.Everything donewith genuine Honda parts. This car has been very well maintained, as never been smoked in, nd has no odors. No check engine lights, o exhaust leaks (or any leaks!) I have a clean and clear transferable New York State title in hand, ith no liens. NY State inspected. There is ZERO rust on the body, rake lines, uel lines, hock towers, xhaust, tc. The car is perfectly stock, inus only the addition of the in-dash Alpine am/fm/cd player (with ipod input,) and the grid charger harnesses. All original Honda glass, ncluding the windshield. Everything on this car is correct and nowworks exactly as it should! Can you buy a cheaper insight? Yup. But be prepared to spend a lot of money and time with the common and expensive battery replacementissues, ransmission grind/replacement neededissues, nteriors and carpets being trashed, eats worn thru, aint and body issues, revious accident history, nd all the other common mechanical and cosmetic stuff. This one is now all done and only needs a driver! This is where the old saying "You get what you pay for" holds very true! This Insight is as reliable as can be. I'd have no problem jumping in this insight and driving outto California today! When taken care of, hese Insights always get 300k or more miles, ifetime-wise. I've seen some with 400k and even 440k on ebay, ith the original engines! Super lightweight (1800 lbs,) and super aerodynamic, he first generation Honda Insight 5-speed holds the mpg record even today, ith epa ratings of 61 city and 70 highway! No other car comes close, ven today! Last summer, averaged 73.7 mpg, ity and highway combined! Surprisinglyroomy inside, ith lots of room in the hatch area and trunk area, s well. If youdo a lot ofdriving, nd can get by with a roomy 2 seater with storage,you cannot beat it! And, hese cars bodies and frames do not rust, s they are all aluminum construction! The owner's manual, tereo manual, nd the keyless remote are included, oo. The car is wired forthe grid chargers I build (see ebay item #301705874122.) Occasional grid charging (and discharging) helps the health of the battery and prolong it's life. PS: I also have a 2001 silver automatic insight, ith a new battery pack I replaced myself 6 months ago, lso from Florida it's whole life too (again super clean,) with a clean carfax report and history with no accidents, ll original honda glass, ith grid charger harness, or $3995! I have extensively gone over every square inch of this insight too, nd repaired and replaced everything it needed, ncluding cosmetic parts that weren't up to my standards. It needs nothing now, nd looks, rives, uns, nd shifts great! (This has been my daughter's daily driver for the past year.) Perfectly tuned and averages 55-60 mpg. Fresh Mobil 1 0w-20 oil, onda filter, nd trans fluid changed too. This insight will also go for many, any more miles! Just needs a driver! I haven't listed it anywhere for sale yet, ust inquire!
