1955 Pontiac Chieftan believed to be the 860 trim with just over 53,000 original miles. 287 cu. in. motor runs great, nd 4 speed hydramatic transmission zips through the city or cruises along the highway with ease. Paint is original color and in fair condition, here are a couple dings and a a few small rust spots (2 on the hood and one on the rear passenger door) that have been treated with Por 15 and filled, nd primed. Car starts, tops and does most everything its supposed to. Gauges work. Windows work with ease, oors and trunk open and close soundly. Glass is near perfect condition, one small imperfection in the driver side door. Original floormats almost completely intact and in excellent condition. This is a really nice original car. There are only a few things that could use some attention. A couple small holes in the floor pans in the front only have been patched. The seats have covers but the originals could use to be rebuilt. The door panels are intact, ut not perfect. Brand New Tires with less than 200 miles on them. Fun for weekend cruising, ut reliable enough to drive daily. Tons of head nods and thumbs up everywhere you go. Overall this is a great vehicle and value. Very hard to find a 50's car in this good of shape both exterior and running. We were told the car was originally in Arizona, hen purchased by a gentleman and moved to CA in the 1990's, nd then we acquired the car. We are believed to be 3rd owner. Title is clean and clear.
