You are bidding a on 1954 Packard Super Clipper Club Coupe. I purchased this car from Phoenix in 2010 for $2,000- and performed a complete engine rebuild (local machine shop)and partial restoration. Unfortunately, y divorce has taken away my ability to continue to this project. It is garage stored in South Bend, ndiana. The car starts and runs easily. I would guess it to be 95-99% complete.
General:It appears the car was last on the road in Pasadena, A up until1978 before being moved to AZ and arriving in storage in Phoenix.
Mechanical: The Packard will run smoothly with a remote fuel supply (I had the Fuel Tank cleaned and dipped yet the fuel outlet remains blocked). I had the Radiator re-cored. The brakes are inoperable; it was fitted with Easamatic Power Brakes. I partially rebuilt the booster only to discover one spring missing and not allowing completion. Operational status of the Ultramatic transmission is unknown. Good Manifold and new Exhaust system from the muffler back but muffler is missing. Interior accessories are in the trunk. Again, his car is nearly complete.
Interior: Rear Seats are infair condition, ront seats were stripped to the frame, edia blasted and painted. Headliner is missing. Carpet is likely not original. Right floor pan replaced. Driver's side floor pan and center pans fromClassic 2 Current Fabrications are included.
Exterior/Structural: Body was removed from frame and the frame was computer straightened, edia blasted, nd painted.(see pictures). Old rusted rockers have been removed; new rockers from (blank) included. All Paint has been primered over with Black or White Primer. Original Color was Two-tone Bellevue & Gallahad Green. Tires are new. Some Chrome has already been re-done (Grill, ail light housings). Remaining chrome is fair.
Terms: Car is sold with a Reserve. Will sell to Canadian and U.S. buyers only.Car is sold As Is, here Is, ith no warranty of any kind. No claims are made for completeness or operational status of vehicle. Seller accepts cash, ertified checks, r PayPal.Total due within three days of close of auction.
