It has come to my attention that the car may be a 1967 model so I wanted to put that out there. The ID plate has been located and the numbers read as follows; Engine No.: 57494, erial No.: 1497. I have posted a photo, o please have a look, hanks!
This listing for a 1959 or 1960 Austin Healey 3000 that belongs to a close friend of mine. The car has been sitting outside for many years and is in rough condition but has many original parts and also has the original engine and drivetrain. As far as I can tell the engine has never been out of the car, he odometer shows 28,000 miles but, bviously, have no way to confirm that. I tend to this it's accurate because most of these cars, hen new were used for fun and amateur sports car racing. This car would be a perfect donor for someone that is restoring one of these great British classics or could be restored on it's own. This is really a great car, ighly sought after and I would love to see it go to someone that will appreciate it for what it is.
As can be seen from the photos, he car suffered front end damage at some point in it's life. The hood, nd many of the body panels look to be in good condition though and could be restored or used for templates. The windshield and dash seem to be in pretty decent condition and the car still has it's original banjo steering wheel and Smith's gauges, ery cool!
