Description

1974 Plymouth Duster. Runs and drives good. This a really awesome looking car and one of the coolest Dusters I have seen.
383 Big Block with Edelbrock 750 carb, delbrock DP4B intake, orted heads with hard seats installed, omp Cams Extreme Energy cam. Schumacher Big Block Conversion headers. 727 automatic with high stall converter, eep pan, nd shift kit. 3.55 Sure Grip rear end. Complete new A/C system that blows cold air. New 3/8" fuel line from the tank, ew 3/8" pick up. The fuel tank was removed and cleaned out.
Car was stripped to bare metal and painted B5 blue in 2008 with a very nice base coat clear coat. The paint has a few minor imperfections now, here's a small spot where the clear peeled a little on the roof. I filled it with touch up paint to make sure it wouldn't spread (I included a picture of the area, t's not very noticeable), he paint has two cracks on the hood (also pictured), he paint is starting to bubble on the bottom of the rear wheel wells, esides this there is no rust anywhere. This is a solid New Mexico car. There are a few very minor chips and scratches here and there from being driven. It has the front end and grille from a 70 Duster installed.
The interior is mostly pretty nice, ust needs a few pieces to finish it- headliner, ackage shelf, ront seat needs to be recovered. It has the rare optional fold down rear seat, owever it is not folding down at the moment, think it has the wrong brackets.
Has polyurethane rear bushings, ew front rubber bushings and new upper ball joints. It has a power steering box with no pump at the moment. I was driving it like this temporarily until I converted it to manual steering. It steers pretty firm but not too bad.
It has new 16x8 rear and 15x6 front Torque Thrust wheels. The car has the perfect stance, n my opinion. The rears fill the wheel wells perfectly without the fronts being too big.
It has been my baby for the past few years, used it for a daily driver a few times and it never let me down. But now I must sell it for financial reasons.
