Classic & highly desirable color combination of original factory 'Brooklands Green’ (Code HFB) color paint (aka British Racing Green) with a beautiful condition 'Coffee' color factory canvas power soft top and with a beautiful doeskin 'Coffee with White Piping’ (Code SDC) leather interior and matching tonneau cover! This particular car must be seen to be truly appreciated! A real head-turner! Obviously always garaged with no signs or history of any damage with all original parts and with only the rear bumper having been repainted once after a very minor rear impact to the rear bumper only last year - never abused, abied all the way!
The original factory 'Brooklands Green' color paint is in beautiful condition and it is without doubt one of the most highly desirable and most classic of colors that these classic British cars were ever built in. Named after the legendary dark green international racing color of the United Kingdom, ka 'British Racing Green', nd originally made famous by Bentley's hugely successful dark green cars raced at the Le Mans 24hr in the 1920's and later by such legendary British marques like Aston Martin, ooper and Lotus in Formula One in the 1950's and 60's and obviously with a nod here by Jaguar to the renown 'Brooklands' racetrack in England, hich famously played host to the world's first 24 hour motor event in 1907 but which sadly closed to never reopen when WWII broke out in 1939!
The original ‘Coffee’ color leather seats with White piping are also in outstanding condition with virtually no signs of any wear and there are no noticeable imperfections in the dashboard or the walnut veneer, he door panels or the carpets. The matching 'Coffee' color soft top is also in exceptional condition. The interior is also completely original with it's 'Jaguar' radio/cassette stereo system and all the options and gauges are working including the ice-cold air conditioning.
The car will be sold with all its original owners manuals and dealer service booklets. The engine is extremely strong and smooth running with excellent oil pressure and which does not burn or leak oil. The temperature always remains cool and the car drives exactly like a virtually still new Jaguar with such low miles should - no shakes or rattles - very smooth and powerful - must drive the same as when it left the showroom floor over 20 years ago!
