This is a nice California car owned by a retired teacher who parked the car when she retired in the mid 80's. The car has been stored in a garage since. In the 80's she had a Ford 289 and c4 transmission transplanted so she could find parts on the road. Everything else on the car is original to include the original paint. The original seats are under the seat covers currently in the car. This car has never been hit or abused. All the chrome is in beautiful shape as are the original hubcaps and tire changing equipment. The original black paint buffs out to a shine with a little elbow grease. The Studebaker 289 engine and transmission currently in storage are included with the price. The car is available for inspection at a local shop it was taken to and is currently awaiting it's turn to be woken up. The Ford 289 has been fired up and ran noise/ knock free by the mechanic. Please feel free to ask any questions and make an appointment to inspect the car. CADMV has confirmed this vehicle is completely out of their system and does not have neither current nor back fee pending or otherwise inconvenient fee. Price has been set very low for a quick sale when compared to most others.
