Up for Auction is a 1967 Sunbeam Alpine V. We bought this car here in Southern California last year as a graduation present for our daughter and though she loved it she didn't feel comfortable driving a 4 spd and opted for an automatic instead. This little kitten starts. uns. hifts. teers and stops as it should and doesn't have any overheating issues. we took it on a 350 mile round trip run up to Kern county and she ran great. The prior owner had the head rebuilt and I have some paperwork on the work done. The top is in good shape as is the rear window. interior is in decent shape with a small tear on the both seat corners. carpet is okay as well. I didn't see any rust issues on the underbody or inner fenderwells. one rear exhaust mount has pulled away from the body leaving a small hole in the trunk and will need to be welded. The trunk is good with minor surface rust coming though the paint and the side trunk card panels are there but are in worn shape and should be replaced. The paint looks good but is not "Perfect" and the bumpers have some dings and scratches. All the gauges seem to work good though the speedo looks to be off . The heater is not connected and the windshield has a couple of scratches from someone using the wipers with bad blades and the rubber seal around the windshield is starting to crack. Tires have good tread and the rims are in nice shape. There is no spare tire or jack. I had a small floor jack that is not included. We're selling this car as I have to many other cars and projects to maintain and don't have the room to properly store it any longer. PLEASE ASK ALL QUESTIONS BEFORE BIDDING and I encourage prospective bidders/buyers to inspect the car for yourselves firsthand as pictures can be deceiving. though I've tried to honestly describe this car to the best of my ability .
