96 Impala SS 1996 Super Sport

Great dependable classic with lots of room to zoom.

This car has its share of dings, ents, nd scratches for being 20 years old but from a distance looks pretty sharp. Most notable cosmetic issue is with the paint on the ram air hood. It was painted by MAACO 5 years ago or so and apparently the warranty has expired.

Tint on all Windows but the front passenger. Started to peel so I just took it off. Winner can either remove all tint or fix the one window, our choice.

118,000 miles and still going strong!

Rebuilt motor with Lloyd Elliott package hot cam, luminum heads, nd 1.6 roller rockers.

Tri-y long tube headers bolted to Flowmaster American Thunder series exhaust system.

New sway bar end links and clamps included, ust need to be put on.

Original window sticker!! Hard to find cars with those anymore.

Transmission temperature gauge on A pillar (room for two more gauges)

Sequential taillights w/multiple settings for front and rear lights.

Chrome wheels are about 6 years old and the chrome is peeling unfortunately. Tires still have decent life left.

I have the original wheels I will also sell in another auction.

I'm an Earnhardt fan and replaced the impala scripts with the Monte Carlo Intimidator SS logo. Again, inner can easily remove if it's not your style.

Important to note:

Sometimes the motor will continue to run at a higher rpm then at idle and you need to rev the motor to get the rpms back down. Figured it would be a throttle cable/position problem and started adjusting the cable and the throttle body idle position. Now I have a Check Engine Light for the throttle position sensor. Also recently the relay for the buzzer that goes off when you leave the key in the car stopped working and so I pulled it so the battery wouldn't die. With this relay/fuse missing the interior lights won't come on unless you turn them on manually which is no problem. New relay can be found online or junk yard. I honestly don't have the time to continue to chase these types of issues down and would rather sell the car to someone who does and will drive and enjoy this car. As the miles would dictate, drive this car once a month or so... Just not too early in the morning.
