austin healey bugeye sprite

Here is a very solid Bugeye project car. It has only minor rust in the bottom of the quarters behind the wheel wells. The floor pans, trunk pan and rockers are all totally solid. All frame rails are very good. It is about 85% complete. I haven't found the rear bumpers and tail lights yet but will add pics of them if I locate them. Also the front bonnet mount is missing. Mechanically very complete. NOT running. It will undoubtedly need a mechanical rebuild. Has roll bar and windshield mounts that are tilted back [probably racing mods]. Has racing seats that are in very good condition. The deck area appears to have been trimmed for installation of the roll bar. The pedal assembly is included, but may not be correct. The convertible top frame will need a repair on one post. Rolls for loading. Has clear California title on non -op. Vin tag present and in good condition. Bonnet needs straightening[see pics]. This is a great start for a Bugeye restoration because it is so solid. Original California car! I found the original black plates that the car is registered to. These plates were issued in 1963 indicating that the Bugeye was in California at that time. It came from the Coalinga area which is desert. This plate number is on the title so these plates can be used on the car to drive. I've added a picture of them. What you see in pictures is what you get as far as the parts that come with it.
