BMW 1997 M3 Turbocharged With Fully Built Motor!

FOR SALE: BMW turbocharged 1997 M3, with a fully built motor with only 7,540 miles on it. This car has been built properly with all the right internals and is an absolute blast to drive. This M3 can be used as a daily driver, can be driven anywhere, anytime or if you prefer you can take it to the track and pretty much be able to compete with any other sports car out there.

This is originally a Florida car, being bought new in West Palm Beach. I bought it in 2012 and drove it to NW Arkansas. I purchased this rust-free M3 from the second owner who is the man that built it. I bought the car for one reason and one reason only, to own an awesome BMW turbocharged daily driver. I have taken care of this car and have always respected its’ power. I think however, as I attempt this ”aging gracefully thing”, it's time for me to pass it on to someone who will both respect and appreciate it . I thoroughly enjoy driving it and have always been very proud to own it.

Getting to the most important aspect of the car, the engine, no expense was spared and the motor was built with the ability of producing north of 700 bhp to the wheels. The boost was set at a conservative 13 lb and even here the car is scary to drive, no traction in 1st, 2nd, or 3rd gears and so I had it reduced to 9 lb. Along with having CP forged pistons and Eagle H Beam rods (the best head work), it’s one step further to ensuring a bullet proof motor by using the absolute best head gasket system money can buy, the PYRAMID RING HEAD GASKET. For those who don't know what this is, it is the process of machining receiver grooves into each cylinder in the block and then placing a stainless steel cutting ring into the groove, which directly bites into the head forming a LEAK PROOF seal which can handle boost levels in excess of 30lb. The stock factory gasket is used for oil and water gallery purposes but the steel ring is removed and replaced by the cutting ring.

Engine management is a full stand-alone GOTECH PRO X unit for which the second owner is the USA distributor. This Gotech Pro X box goes with the car as well as the fuel/air mixture ratio box. Technical information may be obtained from the previous owner and I will provide his name and number to the buyer.

Suspension consists of H&R lowering springs and Bilstein sport shocks which make for a stiff but reasonably smooth ride.

Car has ICE cold AC.

The wheels are 17x9 in the rear and 17x8 up front and are in like new condition. The tires are new as well.

We have some additional paperwork, cd and instructions for the Gotech Pro X box to adjust the engine as needed from inside the vehicle.
