I am hired by clients to buy over thirty AMG and 600-series Mercedes each year, and I can tell you there is ONE thing I look for: a low-mileage car with a documented service and maintenance history in excellent condition. This is that car. I then take it for two additional inspections, and whatever it needs, it gets. Now YOU don’t have to pay to replace everything like most of the cars sold online. It’s all been done already for the next owner. Ask any other seller if they will take their 2006 CLSS55 for a full inspection and fix everything found. The answer will be “NO”. With these cars, you get what you pay for. I paid top-dollar to get this car, because it was nicer than ALL the other CLS55’s I looked at for cosmetics and mechanicals. There are beater CLS55’s, nice CLS55’s, and mint CLS55’s. This one is mint, which is incredible for a 10 year old car! *. * Here's the deal: -- This is a NO RESERVE 2006 CLS55 in 759 iridium silver metallic over charcoal leather/alcantara interior, with matching dark carpets and headliner. It has burlwood interior trim as well. It looks like a million bucks, with no rust, oxidation, or significant wear anywhere. This car was LOVED and it shows. There is hardly a ding, dent, or scuff/scratch anywhere…it’s unreal. And with only 35K miles it should look great! -- -- Exterior 9.25 out of 10 – Really nice overall condition paint and body. Only a few minor thin scratches but all will be professionally touched up in the detail process. This CLS55 looks great, with a deep shine to the metallic silver paint that's like looking into a mirror. This car looks great even under fluorescent light in a garage. Imagine getting a 10 year old car with no swirl marks or spiderwebs in the paint….amazing! -- -- The lower side-body moldings are in great shape. The chrome, rubber, and trim is all in very nice shape. No oxidation, fade, wear, etc. as you might expect of a 10 year old car. Look at the body panels.....they are laser straight. -- -- This CLS55 is nicely optioned. It had an original MSRP of almost $94,705! Options include active bi-xenon lighting, active/ventilated/heated front seats with pulse massage and dynamic bolstering, and electronic trunk closer. This CLS55 AMG also has a monroof, alcantara headliner, COMAND navigation, and a power rear shade. Wow! -- It currently wears a set of gorgeous two-piece 20" staggered polished wheel that really set it apart from the usual CLS55. All true, with some curb rash and minor marks. The tires are worn out, but if the ending price is over $28K I will supply a near-new set of Continental DWS performance tires, 245/35/20 up front and 275/30/20 in the rear, mounted, balanced, and aligned. This CLS55 goes arrow-straight down the road at high speed with no shimmy, pull, or anything else. -- -- Interior 9.75 out of 10 - The interior overall including all seating and door leather, seat padding, dash, console, wood, and carpets are in excellent condition. No dash cracks, carpet rips, very little wear of any kind in the interior. Everything looks and feels great. This is not the typical worn ten year old CLS - this car looks like it has only 35K miles on it in the interior! These pictures are without even any type of detailing, just a wash and a vacuum off the truck to PA. There is no dullness or fade to anything…it’s really nice. -- -- The door panels and wood trim are also in great shape, like the rest of the car. -- -- Even the trunk and spare are mint, spare and tools in place. -- -- Electrical 10 out of 10 - All lights, switches, radio, windows, wipers, seat motors/memory/pulse, and power mirrors work perfectly. Vacuum lock system, remote key, interior lights all operating as they should. NO instrument cluster warnings, NO problems at all. -- -- The airmatic system is operating properly with no leakdown. The service history is excellent, and all documented at the MB dealer. The HVAC system is fast to respond, and operates perfectly with scalding hot heat and ice-cold A/C. Seat heaters and seat ventilation all working properly. -- -- Mechanical 10 out of 10 - Engine starts, idles, runs, and revs to redline in every gear smooth and strong. Transmission is smooth and downshifts eagerly to catapult you into the next county. No abrupt engagement, just silky smooth shifts. She runs at high speed with no vibrations or noises. There are no leaks....NONE. -- -- This CLS55 has passed THREE inspections with flying colors. A pre-purchase overall inspection with cosmetic inspection (scored a 4.1 out of 5.0 which is well above average and very rare for a 10 year old car!) and test drive, a full body/frame/mechanical/electrical inspection, and a Benz specialist shop has gone over the car as well. After their final and thorough inspection for any problems, I fixed a few minor things and brought maintenance up to date, so the car is ready to roll. -- -- Engine is VERY strong and VERY eager to run, transmission smooth and ready to rocket you past slower traffic. Brakes are solid and pedal feel is firm. Suspension is tight like new, no worn tie rod ends, ball joints, struts, or anything else. Steering nicely weighted with no play in the box. ZERO leaks or noises. This car drives and handles like new. This CLS55 comes with books, tools, working remote key, and line-list of EVERY SINGLE MB service visit since new, all the way back to day one!
