1976 Triumph Spitfire 1500

This vehicle was acquired in an estate sale. Selling as a parts car as is. Many parts are included. PICK-UP ONLY / CASH ONLYin Sayreville, NJThe car is a 1976 Triumph Spitfire 1500 Hard Top / Convertible. Car has been stored in a garage for approximately 20 years. It ran and was driven into the garage.
The bad: The cars frame is rusted through on the passenger side behind the rear wheels beneath the trunk. There may be other spots but i did not find any. There is also some rust on the passenger side under the door which will need to be replaced in my opinion.
The good: The overall condition of the cars body is pretty good, mostly surface rust. The hard top is in really good shape with no rot, just surface rust. The bonnet is solid, as are the floors.I did not try to start the car as did not want to damage anything internally. The engine has a really nice 4-1 header and a really cool Marmitte ANSA exhaust.
The parts: 4 speed transmission, 4 speed transmission w electric overdrive, a few clutches, radiator, a couple of ZS carbs, coil, manifold, trunk lid, door, 2 seats, gas tank, air cleaner distributor & some misc stuff.
I spent about an hour with the car & these are my honest observations & opinions. Look at the pictures, ask questions & know what your buying. This car is being sold as a parts car with title. AS IS WHERE IS.PICK UP ONLY.This is a no reserve auction. It will not end early. It is not for sale anywhere else. $100.00 deposit within 48 hours. Vehicle must be picked up the weekend after auction ends unless other arrangements are made with me. I will not ship.When you win this no reserve auction the car is yours.
