Porsche 356c 1965
An Iconic example that paved the way for the 911 and all things Porsche!
Two Owners. No accidents. One Story with a happy ending. This is a wonderful opportunity to own a true Icon of the sixties.
History: This was originally sold in New Hampshire. The original owner only drove it on nice days. A mechanic failed to replace the oil cap when doing a routine oil change and the engine ran dry of oil and stopped. The engine was replaced with a new engine shipped in a crate from the factory in Stuttgart. This Porsche factory engine has less than 5k miles on it. Most of these miles were highway miles put on by the second owner. It has been garaged in North Carolina since the late nineties.
The car was re-sprayed in the original color in the late nineties. The fuel tank was replace recently and fresh weather stripping has been added. The only non-factory item to mention is the Monza exhaust. This was installed by the original owner for a little more power and a more exotic sound.
