1997 Dodge Ram 2500 4X4 Pickup 5.9L V8

You are considering the purchase of a 1997 Dodge Ram 2500 series 3/4 ton 4 wheel drive pickup truck.Automatic transmission, has Air Conditioning but does not work, appears to need a recharge. Has factory lift kit. Has hitch with electric brake controller and 7 pin plug. Good brakes and tires. Solid frame, no rot or bending. Rust at bottoms of doors. Has bedliner.

The Bad. Engine has a low oil pressure condition once it heats up. When you stop at a traffic light, the oil light comes on, once you go to accelerate, it goes off. Exhaust will need to be replaced at some point. Front transmission seal leaks if truck has been sitting for extended periods of time. Truck is driveable and have been usingit this way for the past few years. Engine runs very well.

This is a great truck for a buildup or a restoration.
