1978 Trans Am SE Y82 W72 WS6 Manual Black/Black Restored

Rotisserie restored to stock. Original numbers matching engine and transmission both rebuilt. Pypes 2-1/2 exhaust. PHS documents this is a real Y82, W72, WS6, Manual Trans, Black on Black Special Edition. One of only 489 built in 1978 out of 93000 Trans Ams. Restoration completed 8 years ago. Paint is conservatively 9 out of 10. Car is straight. Hurst T-Tops leak naturally. But all weatherstrip is new all around - doors, windows, trunk and the TTops so go figure. New carpet, new Lombardy cloth seats as original, new package tray and headliner and dash bezel is restored, not a decal. Dash is original and has a crack where it curves. Was repaired but is visible, see pic. New BFG tires, correct 1978-only WS6 8" Snowflake wheels. Space saver tire in trunk with inflator and jack. New brakes. Posi rear end is 2.73 for easier high speed cruising. Car runs 2000 RPM at 70 MPH instead of over 3000, pulls great with the mild cam. Air blows ice cold. Rear defog works. All gauges work, clock works. All lights work.
