1965 Chevrolet Impala. 4 door, 327/300HP V8, 2 speed automatic transmission. I bought this from my daughter's boyfriend because he was in desperate need of money. I don't want it, and am just trying to get my money back out of it.
I've driven it the past couple of days and gone over it and here is my list of issues with the car:
1) Runs and drives pretty decently. Does need exhaust work, though. Not sure if the exhaust is even connected to the exhaust manifold, to be honest.
2) Passenger fender and door are pretty rusted. You can see through parts of the fender...
3) For the age, the interior isn't totally shot. The seats need reupholstered and there is the start of a hole in the floor pan on the driver's side.
4) Suspension needs work.
5) Brakes need work.
If I were actually interested in this car, I would keep it myself and do a restoration. But, Impalas just aren't my thing.
