I'm selling my 2003 Viper. It is in excellent condition, as you can see from the pictures. It has always been adult owned and garaged. The title is clear and in hand, and it has never been wrecked. I have the clean/clear Carfax report for buyers to take a look at. The car runs VERY strong. This is my 4th Viper and the nicest one I've owned. Here are some details about it:
-Just over 27k miles
-Never been wrecked
-Impeccable maintenance records going back to when the car was new. The oil was changed every 3k miles. Everyone claims this and it's usually BS, but I can prove it via the Carfax
-Paxton Supercharger kit has been installed, this kit retails for $10k plus the cost to install it. I haven't dynoed the car but it is extremely fast. I have had other Vipers, Z06 Corvettes, Porsches, etc. and nothing I have owned could touch this car.
-Very high end stereo installed. The stock Viper stereo is weak so the previous owner replaced it with a Kenwood double din head unit, JL amp, JL sub, all JL speakers/components. This system has it all, turn by turn navigation, Bluetooth access, hands free calling, etc.
-All the gauges have been converted to white LED lighting that is much brighter and better looking than stock (see pics)
-When the stereo was put in a carbon fiber dash was added, replacing the stock black plastic
-Aftermaket tint on windows and tail lights
-Aftermarket clutch to handle the extra power from the supercharger
-Fresh oil change with Mobil 1 synthetic 200 miles ago
-Comes with custom car cover
Condition:
The car is in great condition. The paint on this car looks wet, it has the best paint of any car I've owned. Check out the pictures to see the reflection. I just had the car professionally waxed and detailed. The silver stripes were added as this model year Viper did not come with stripes from the factory. They set the car off with the chrome wheels. The engine runs very strong, it doesn't smoke, hesitate or have any leaks. The transmission shifts great in every gear and the clutch is almost new. The car drives straight and true, no vibrations or anything like that. You can take your hands off the wheel at 80 and it drives perfectly straight. It never runs hot, stays right at 200 even in heavy traffic in the heat. There are no check engine lights. Mechanically the car is very solid.
The tires have 75% tread left in the front and 65% in the back. They are Michelin Pilot Sports, not some cheap junk. As you may know Viper tires are big $$$ but these have at least 15-20k miles left on them so you're good to go. I attached a picture of the tread on the rear tires so you can see. The A/C blows ice cold. The interior is in 8/10 condition. There is a little bit of wear on the driver's side seat bolster from getting in and out but other than that it shows very well. The top is in like new condition, no rips, tears or fading. The wheels are in 9/10 condition. NO curb rash and the chrome shines like new.
Issues:
-The fan for the A/C/Heat either works on full blast or not at all. I read up online and it is due to a bad resistor but I bought a new set of A/C controls that come with the car
-The clutch pedal squeaks sometimes when you press it, probably just needs some WD-40 but you can notice it so I figured I'd bring it up
Overall, this is a well maintained, well sorted, FAST Viper that is ready to be enjoyed by the next owner. Car is sold AS-IS, no warranty expressed or implied.
