Complete build done by the current owner
Body:All steel,3" chop, rear fenders widened 2" and bobbed, roof filled, all wood removed and replaced with steel,all tinted safety glass, rad. housing dropped to follow lines of the cowl, custom alumn. fuel tank (18 gal.), running boerds custom made, front fenders had the spare tire cavitys filled paint is PPG Lemon Ice with Seafoam pearl, and clear coated. Painted by myself as was all body work. This paint pops in the sun!!
Interior:T/T steering column from a 68 Pontiac, custom steering wheel, Fiero bucket seats, all interior stitched in ultra leather by myself. Dash and door inserts are made from solid tiger maple clear coated.Engine / Trans:355 SBC, Lunati crank, pistons and rods. 8.5 compression, heads had ext. valves opened up and everything ported, cam is a stock 65 fuelie cam. Electric water pump and fan. This car will run all day at 185 degrees, no over heating problems what so ever. 471 blower with 2 edelbrock 55 carbs.HEI dist reworked advance curve. Custom valve covers made by the owner, ss headers and 2 1/2" ss exaust..200R4 built to handle 800 HP by Turbo Buick Performance in NY, 3000 stall converter.
Chassis:All boxed and rear section built from .125 wall 2X6 steel tubingchrome four link in read, chrome upper and lower front suspension arms custom built by owner to bolt up to a mustang II style front end. 2" dropped spindles in the front and rack and pinion steering. Ford 9" narrowed read ( by owner) currie 3:72 posi. and axles. All adjustable coil overs, all wheel disc brakes, removable trans support.
Car is a blast to drive, has approx. 5600 miles since on street in 2009 PA legal and titled as a PA Street Rod, there are no inspection issues. I have a copy of the original title!! If you want something different, this is your rod, I have never seen another one at any of the many national events we have been to. It is great fun to drive and always gets alot of eyeball.
