1948 Buick Super 8 2 door coup, Barn find

very rare 1948 buick super 8. This car has a lot of potential. The last time I seen it run until last week I was 8, that was 31 years ago. It took more work to pull it out of the barn that it did to get running! I soaked the cylnders, cleaned the plugs, points, and fuel system. Changed the oil and gave it some fresh fuel and it started rite up. This car sat for 31 years and it starts with the push of the accelerator, yes the accelerator activated starter switch on the carb still works. If you are interested I can send a video of it starting and running. I do believe all parts are there, the car does have the normal rust of a 68 year old cat that has sat for the last 31 years. The brakes do not work, I have not gone through them. The car starts, runs, drives, and shifts. It is in need of a good home where it will get a proper restoration. It deserves one! The only other 2 door 48 super 8 I could find on the net was listed for $3900 in non running condition. I was in a lot worse shape than this one.
