MotoeXotica Classic Cars is pleased to present this rare and sought after 1997 Volkswagen Eurovan Camper by Winnebago Industries. These Eurovan Camper by Winnebago were introduced in the US, and were upgraded to the VR6 for the 1997 models. These small pop top camper vans are unique in North America and have developed a cult following.

The Eurovan Camper, which is the long wheelbase commercial van converted by Winnebago Industries (a $9600 option) to include a pop-top roof, two two-person beds, seating for four (plus optional single or two-person center seats), a one cubic foot refrigerator that runs on propane, DC, or AC, a propane furnace, a closet, cabinets, sink with cold water and a gray water tank, a two-burner propane stove, two two-person dinette tables, coach battery, house lighting, and the two front bucket seats made to swivel around to face the dinette/kitchen area.

Finished in a brilliant Artic White, the exterior of this Eurovan shows extremely well! All the trim is present, complete and displays a brilliant finish. The front and rear color keyed painted bumpers are tight and finish is exquisite. The original headlights and tail lights are in very good condition with no hazing or cracking.

Inside, the Grey Street cloth interior features front captain’s chairs that swivel and look great. The rear bench (which folds down for more cargo room) are finished in the same grey cloth of the front seats. The grey door panels and dashboard are a continuation of the interior of the van and look fantastic. The headliner compliments the cloth of the seats. The grey carpet though out the camper is in very good condition. The weather-stripping is in excellent condition. All the original gauges are correctly placed and function as designed. Included are features such as, air conditioning, front and rear heating systems, power windows, power locks and cruise control. The original steering wheel with the Panasonic AM/FM stereo completes the interior.

This fully optioned Eurovan is equipped with a VR6 2.8 liter 6-cylinder engine fed by electronic fuel injection. Power is transferred to the wheels by a 4-speed automatic transmission. Driver assist features include power assisted rack & pinion steering and power assisted 4-wheel disc brakes with ABS. This camper rides on a fully front and rear independent suspension. 16-inch 5 spoke alloy wheels with VW trim caps complete the look.
