Description

For sale today is my beautiful Bmw 650i convertible in metallic stratus gray. This vehicle is no longer practical for me as I now have custody of my 2 small children and have no time to drive this at all. My car has typical signs of usage on the interior and exterior but nothing dramatic to speak of. No accidents at all on this vehicle and the only thing that might show on the car fax is minor hail damage (5 dings to be exact) that happened a few months ago and has since been resolved. The damage was so minor that MetLife simply wrote me a check for $500 so I can take it to have the little dings popped out. You would never be able to tell it unless I told you. The car is currently sitting on genuine Bmw m6 rims with Michelin rubber. The tires were purchased at discount about a year ago and won't need tires for awhile. This rim and tire combination is worth in upwards of $6k. There are 75,000 lightly driven miles on the odometer and can easily drive for another 75,000 more without having to worry about this engine due to all the necessary (and preventive ) work that's been done under the hood in the past month! You'll think I'm crazy for investing so much money in this vehicle to just sell it shortly after, but life happens sometimes :)...This 6er has had some extensive work done to give you some much needed peace of mind when buying a preowned Bmw. Notable, had all the valve stem seals replaced. These seals are known to start falling apart around the 70k mark. This is a problem you need not worry about with mine since all 32 have been replaced with Elring Klinger seals! Google it- do your research before buying a Bmw with a bigger engine like this as you'll see this issue is EXTREMELY COMMON AND EXPENSIVE. Below I'll list everything that's been done recently. Brakes and rotors were done around 3k miles ago and everything else about 200 miles ago. I know the pricing Bmw would charge for all this would be about $20k combined. My Indy Bmw technician gave me a discount although it was still the equivalent of an arm and a leg! All genuine Bmw parts (or better) were used Under the hood and I have receipts to prove this.
Brakes w/ drilled and slotted rotors all around. (This will easily cost you $2k@bmw)Valve stem seal replacement (will cost you at or over $7,500 at Bmw)The cooling system has been flushed and replaced with new genuine Bmw antifreezeO rings for solenoid/case seals and vacuum pump all replacedBoth belts including the ac belt and timing belt replacedEngine timing cover gaskets replacedValve cover gaskets replacedEngine coolant hoses replacedCamshaft adjuster seal replacedAll spark plugs replacedCrankshaft pressure regulating valves replaced
Eccentric shaft seal sensors replacedHepa filter for interior breathing quality replacedOil changed with mobil 1 full syntheticNew oil filter
There is one issue that hasn't been addressed because it's simply an annoyance in the form of a light and does not affect anything otherwise. The "passenger seat restraint warning" popped up. I'm not too keen on going to the dealership, so I never got it resolved since this is a widely known issue with 6 series and I didn't see any harm in just "letting it be"
Now for the fun part- DO NOT BID ON THIS CAR UNLESS YOU HAVE THE CASH PLEASE! I hold a free and clear title. You must send the deposit immediately within 24 hours of auction end NO EXCEPTIONS. I must be paid in full within 3 days of auction end NO EXCEPTIONS. I take cash, check or cashiers check. I can't/won't deal with financing. You will need to arrange inspection of this vehicle( if desired ) BEFORE YOU BID ON IT. I will be more than willing to accommodate this. I will not be willing to accommodate this after you've won the auction. You may fly here and drive it home or arrange shipping( at your expense of course ).
*** I just received a question from a potential buyer, so I thought I'd update the description***I want to address the "accident or event" car fax reported on 4/25/16. The damage sustained was from minor hail damaged ($500 worth to be exact). The "damage" was a handful of shallow dings (four on the hood and one on the fender). I have paperwork from MetLife insurance to support this. It NEVER LEFT MY DRIVEWAY during this "incident". These 5 dings were popped out with paintless dent repair in just a few hours. No paint or bondo was needed ( I have paperwork to support this as well)
