An additional 700 or so were produced in 2009, after which the KR was taken off production. With the KR's MSRP of $79,995, and limited production units the KR truly is a collector-car. An additional 40 horsepower and 30 pound-feet of torque from the GT500's supercharged 5.4-liter V8, brings the KR's output to 540 hp and 510 lb-ft of torque. A shorter 3.73:1 final drive and short-throw shift linkage round out the upgrades to the powertrain. An excellent package built for years of enjoyment.
