This is a 1957 Porsche Speedster 356 replica roadster powered by a 911 2.2L Porsche Engine. Not just your average Speedster Replica (as if any speedster could ever be average). This Vintage Speedster is powered by a Porsche power plant and places it tiers above the rest. So if you are looking for a Speedster look and a sound that replicates the real deal, with the feeling of a half a million dollar car, then you will truly appreciate this ride. Recently purchased out of sunny Southern California where we drove this example all around Orange County and Los Angeles and had a blast. Wether in bumper to bumpertrafficor at full speed, we can not express enough what a fun running and driving car this is. There is nothing better then cruising down the beach in a Speedster!! Also a huge selling point is the amount of room in this Speedster, wether the top is up or down at 6'5 I have plenty of room and it is a very comfortable ride forlongdistance trips or cruising. Also has a top in case the weather kicks in.

Finished in a classic Porsche racing silver with tasteful rear deck badging of “Stuttgart” and “Porsche 356 Registry” all the while housing a Porsche engine oder its lid. The ability to show up at an event and open the deck lid to show the six carburetor stacks jetting upwards is an worthwhile experience. The front bonnet is nicely finished with Fuel cell, battery and old sump for the Porsche powerplant. This Speeder has a very fresh feel to it with little wear and an odometer that reads just over 8679 km/h which equals 5,393 milessinceitwas finished.

Nicely finished with Fuch style 15” wheels wrapped in Pirelli P4 tires. Classically finished black with grey carpet interior with a wood grain steering wheel and Sony Pandora and Bluetooth ready CD Player. This truely is a nicely finished out Vintage Speedster.

Vintage Speedsters use a Steel sub-frame pre-riveted and hand glassed into body“Hand-laid”, reinforced, high quality fiberglass body. The frame is a custom built, jig welded, 2×4 inch 11-gauge steel frame. An original VW pan is restored, shortened and welded to the new steel skeleton. It is in great condition with just over 5000 miles, so it does have a few chips on the bumper and a few hairlines scratches were the bonnet opens as display in the photographs. The passenger side plastic window is missing. Thats really all that stands out to us, as it has obviously been a well cared for car and appears toto have been primarily a California car.

I have beenaroundquite a few Speedsters and this one does have a very classy and authentic vibe and the sound it makes going down the road is worlds different the a VW powered version!

History:

The Porsche 356 was build between 1948-1965. The A series (356A) was the first refinement of the line introducing numerous refinements including a curved windshield rather than a split or bent screen. In late 1959, the B-series (356B) brought the first substantial styling changes in terms of headlight treatment and bumpers and a short-lived notchback coupe body style. Disc brakes finally arrived with the C-series cars (356C) in 1964 along with the most powerful pushrod engine yet, the 95 hp SC. By the 1966 model year, the venerable 356 had been supplanted by the 911 and 912. -Hagarty
