1955 Willys Wagon 4 x 4 project car. That nice looking wagon picture is what it can look like with a little bit of work. That picture was taken before restoration began in 2002. It is what it can look like again. I purchased the vehicle 5 years ago from an owner in Michigan. He purchased it in 2001 and drove it 1 year before beginning a restoration. The cab and the frame along with many components are stripped and painted with a zinc chromate primer. Fenders have been stripped, fully restored and primed. Has all the glass but not in best condition. Has original front and rear bumpers. It has a Super Hurricane L226 straight 6 w/3 speed trans. Gears were replaced with 4.27 to 1 gears. Rear axle, transmission, transfer case, front axle, brakes all rebuilt. Has new Warn hubs. New value seats are installed on block. The engine is disassembled, major components need mechanical inspection, bearings replaced and engine reassembled. Parts are commercially available for engine. Have all new door and window seals a 12 volt up grade harness, new front floor pan materials. Cab needs some metal work to repair areas damage by rust. It has been stored in doors by me and the previous owner for last 15 years. I no longer have the finances to finish the project. It's ready for someone to finish putting it back together. I have 95 % of required parts including gauges, switches, engine accessories, interior/exterior chrome, etc. Have many extra parts. I have additional pictures of the vehicle prior to starting and while under going restoration. $3,750 takes it all, as-is, the vehicle is in California, Maryland 20619. My loss is your gain! The vehicle is also listed for sale locally. I reserve the right to sell it locally.
