1963 1/2 Ford Falcon Sprint was the starting entry in Ford's Total Performance line up in mid-1963. This San Jose manufactured Falcon is owned by a non-smoker and garage kept since purchased in 2003. The vehicle lived its first 40 years in southwestern US. Older Lacquer paint still shines and waxes beautifully and has some imperfections. One very small dent on left fender came with the vehicle. Stainless trim and Chrome are in very good, bright condition.
It features a 1968 Ford 302 with Edelbrock Performer matched aluminum intake, heads and camshaft with 650 cfm Holley 4 bbl. Powder coated chrome finished headers move exhaust through stainless steel dual exhaust with cross-over and Magnaflow low restriction mufflers. Power goes through the 1968 Ford Top Loader 4 speed to original 8" Ford rear-end converted to limited slip, 3.73 differential. Power train has 9,000 miles since completion in 2003. An aluminum 2 row vertical radiator keeps the mill cool on the lower end of the factory gauge!
Underside of vehicle still wears original spray rust protection. 1968 Mustang front disc brakes and standard rear drum brakes bring the car to a stop on a firm pedal. Power steering makes the car a comfortable driver. The rear leaf springs were replaced about 8 years ago and are very firm. Interior is mostly original. Carpets are replacement, tan in color. Upholstery and headliner are original. Vintage Air was ducted into the dashboard and looks like a factory stock installation.
Car was purchased in 2003 from the previous owner in Tuscon, AZ. The Corinthian White over Ivy Gold Falcon has no signs of major damage due to accidents and in my opinion has never had any frame damage. Car comes with original radiator and original open 3.25 rear differential. Frame connectors which were never installed will also come with the Falcon. The underside of the car is so original, I did not have the heart to install them.
PA Antique title is Clear. Payment terms are cash-in-person, bank treasurer's check or bank wire.
