Description |

This is a unique DJ-5A Kaiser jeep. I have been told that there are only about 200 made. It is a DJ, but has the left hand steering, but no top – from the factory, not a cut off. It has the 4cyl chevy nova motor, has been rebuilt, and the two speed power glide transmission. Two wheel drive. Runs good-I drive it around town sometimes. This is not an, already restored jeep. Still needs some work like, turn signals work, but break lights do not. Etc.
I have been told that this was manufactured right before Kaiser was bought out, and they were putting jeeps together with different parts in stock. Some of the documentation says 1969 and other documentation says 1970. Kaiser was purchased right after this. (My friend refers to the Johnny Cash song, “One Piece At A Time”.)
I have a clear title
I am no expert on jeeps, but have done extensive digging and searching and calling people who work and live in the jeep world.
This sits in my barn, and needs to find a home with a collector or enthusiast that will make her shine.
