1999 Dodge Ram 1500, Wheelchair Accessible, Driver Hand Controls, Van

Independence for sale, Great running 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 Mark III Conversion High Top, wheelchair accessible van. Super low mileage 68,727. Body is in very good condition with few small scratches and a few small dents. The fiberglass high top shell has some paint damage on the front and crazing throughout. The fiberglass shell is watertight. Interior is in fair condition. The previous owner(s) was/were smokers so there are some burn holes here and there. I had the van detailed recently. This van has a bulletproof 3.9 liter V6 gas engine and has gotten a steady 15 to 17 miles per gallon. This van is equipped with a posi-traction rear end. I put new tires on it in October of 2015 and have less than 2000 miles on them.

Special equipment includes new heavy-duty battery, Braun wheelchair lift, drivers transfer seat, steering wheel control knob, hand controls, new remote starter and door lock operator. Special equipment valued over $14,000.00.

There is also a third seat that matches the front two seats which will be included loose. I also have a Q-Straint tie down strip that can be installed to tie down a wheelchair during transport and there are four Q-Straint ratcheting straps that lock into above-mentioned strip which will be included. ( Pictures of Q-Straint items are from a catalog and may not be the exact item) Cruise control works great, air conditioning blows ice cold air. I have taken the carpet out from the driver's seat back to the rear door and have installed a wood floor to make it easy to roll the wheelchair in and out. I will also include a pair of seat covers that I did not get a chance to install.
