This is a super solid nice running and driving Scout II. It has been repainted in it's original glacier blue. Thepaint is nice and new but is not a show car paint job. It is a very nice driver quality. Cab mounts are solid as are the rockers and floors.
The inline 6 runs like a sewingmachine. Ithink it may need a new carb because it will act up like it is not getting enough fuel. The carb has been professionally rebuilt. Transmission shifts out like it should but will leak if it sits for long periods. The gas gauge does not work because the float has gone bad. I can't seem to get the temp gauge to work (either a sending unit, or a bad gauge). The tires do have some flat spotting from sitting. I would think that they would run out with use and could use a new balancing.
This is a really nice little truck, that still needs a little TLC. There is no reason to snub your nose at a inline 6, most Jeeps have the same style inline 6 and nobody gets in an uproar about that. With that being said, I have set my reserve for this truck well below what v8's Scouts are priced at.
Please feel free to call 479-721-7097 or text any questions except for what my RESERVE is. Feel free to make an offer. This truck is being sold as is with no warranty. All shipping charges are theresponsibility of the buyer. A $500 non-refundable deposit is required immediately afterthe auction is over. I hate to have to do this, but it keeps people honest.
