This auction is for a 1916 Ford Model T Touring. It is the last of the brass era cars sometimes called black and brass. This car belongs to a good friend of mine that has been a major Ford Collector for many years. One of his friends owned this car for a little of 50 years and passed away a few years ago. Originally this car had been displayed in the Herby Gillsum Museum before the prior owner purchased it. This is a no rust vehicle. It was an original maroon colored car and was repainted at some point in time. Has original Ford Floor Mats, Original Ford Speedometer that runs of the front sprocket, Even down to the Original Brass Cotter Pins that hold the convertible top in place. Has an Oogah Horn and Magneto Horn. All Original Wood in the car. Has the rare 5 National Wire Wheel Works Wire Wheels that are almost impossible to find. Have the correct Brass Spanner Wrench to remove the wheels. Original Tool Box mounted on the running board with all original Ford Tools. At the moment the car has a 1923 Engine as it has a starter and was easier for the prior owner not to have to crank it. We have the original motor to the vehicle that is complete and ran fine when pulled to be included with the sale. This car runs and drives absolutely perfect. A definite piece of history that any early Ford collector would be proud to own. We have prior Maine registration and proper dealer transfer paperwork should you need a title in your state. We require a $500 non refundable deposit at auctions end and balance due within 3 days of auctions end.
