Up for sale is my beautiful 2008 Maserati Quattroporte Executive GT, which was exquisitely ordered in Nero Carbonio over a supple duo-tone Cuoio and Nero Interior. Heads will turn everywhere you go, thanks to the sensual Pininfarina curves accentuated by the Nero Carbonio paint, 19” ball-finished aluminum wheels wrapped in Pirelli tires, and the intoxicating drone of the Ferrari-based 4.2-liter V-8 engine.
This magnificent motorcar was produced when owning a Maserati meant something that was hand-built, not merely thrown together from the Fiat-Chrysler parts bin. There was no such thing as a $499 a month lease on a new Ghibli; ownership was reserved for just a select few. With an MSRP eclipsing $128,000, this vehicle was one of the most expensive and best luxury vehicles available in 2008. It combined the road holding ability of a sports car with the opulent appointments of the finest luxury cars. This was a vehicle for the most discerning individual to whom sacrificing any virtue of the vehicle for the sake of another was unacceptable.
Putting power to the rear wheels is a Ferrari-Maserati F136 engine, an engine platform also used to power legends such as the Ferrari 430 Scuderia, Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione, and most recently, the Ferrari 458 Speciale. With 4.2 Liters of displacement, this handcrafted masterpiece produces a breath-taking 400 horsepower, which is directed to the rear wheels through a ZF automatic transmission, with a 0-60 time of 5.2 seconds. While the Quattroporte is fast, it is incredibly well-mannered. Thanks to its front mid-engine layout, the Maserati Quattroporte has an incredible 49/51 weight distribution. When partnered with the incredible Skyhook Suspension system, the Quattroporte Executive GT handles like a Mercedes S-Class- until you depress the accelerator and feel the sports car soul come to life.
The car has 47,xxx miles on the odometer, and is a 2-owner car. The car has spent its life in St. Louis, and has always been serviced at STL Motor Cars. Extra equipment includes ClearBra on front, Sirius Radio Module, and Bluetooth. The car recently underwent service when it had the Cam Variator re-machined and replaced in February by STL Motor Cars.
