1987 Mercedes 190DT 2.5 Turbo

Nice daily driver 190DT 2.5 Turbo Diesel. Not a show car but still very presentable. There are some scratches and minor fender push in on driver/front (see photo). Just had front brake pads and rotors installed and rear brake pads. Cold AC and hot heat. Within approx. 20,000 miles had installed rebuilt alternator, rebuilt instrument cluster and clock, r&r glow plugs, r&r lower control arm bushings (both sides), Front struts, rear coil springs & shocks, one engine mount, r&r rear stabilizer link, idler (steering) arm, heater valve, antenna seals, reseal injection pump, r&r transmission cooler lines, transmission fluid/filter, coolant, brake fluid, power steering fluid, trans seal. Also done ordinary stuff like fuel filters, synthetic oil and filter change, air filter, headlamps. Nice tread on all four Michelins. I am not aware of any rust, but I don't guarantee that there isn't some. Interior is very nice. Things not working: recommend replacing sunroof seal (though it doesn't leak), outside thermometer, driver seat belt hard to fasten (have to use more pressure than usual, but it works), need to replace the engine hood insulation pad, starting to come off, but still there - that is all I am aware of. It drives very nicely - I would not hesitate to drive cross country. Good luck finding another one this well maintained, relatively low mileage - only about 1400 turbos were imported into the US and only in this year. It is really nice to have about 35 MPG on highway, fairly peppy for a diesel, and a really nice handling and braking car. Again - a lot of value left in this car and these are somewhat collectable. Definitely a fun car to drive. Deposit is due within 48 hrs and non-refundable. Thanks for bidding - reason for sale is I have too many MB diesels and need to part with a couple.
