You are bidding on a 1960 Volkswagen Single Cab Dropgate Pickup Truck – it is obviously a project, and it comes with its original side and rear dropgates, treasure chest door, rear decklid, original seat frames, dash package tray, ice pick door handles, plus, you’ll find plenty other 100% original parts that this truck was born with. It’s rusty, and will need truck bed and treasure chest bed metal, rocker panels and some cross member reinforcement, but this truck is chock full of value, and lots of significant original items.

As you can see from the M-code plate photo in the item description, this truck was manufactured on November 20, 1959 – early in the 1960 model year. I’m thinning out my base car herd – one of you enthusiasts out there can get ahead of the crowd and get a head start on a hot VW truck project with this unusually original early dropgate truck.
