It's a year older, not a 50th anniversary & $11,000 more than my fairlypriced ZO6!
This 50th Anniversary Z06 could be the best condition 03 car to be found. At the point of my placing this second owner Gem up for sale it had just 8,250 miles ! There is not a stone chip, scratch, paint mar or cosmetic flaw anywhere on the car inside or out. This car has every option available except for the body side molding. (This molding in the center of the cove robs from the body lines.) IMHO
The car was purchased at the renowned KERBECK CHEVROLET. The Retail Vehicle Order shows a 2/24/03 transaction date. The ZO6 sold for $52,418 total with an MSRP of $53,155 on the original window sticker I have. The Odometer Disclosure Statement shows 15 miles, the first repair order at 3,094 miles shows recall 04-00-6 for the electronic column lock system and the first oil change being completed. I have the GM Global Warranty Management System printout showing this recall as the only warranty work ever done on this ZO6. With all this documentation, I also have the four page pamphlet honoring KERBECKS purchasing the 1953 Corvette EX 122 that rounds out the 50 years of passion for these cars. I acquired this truly special Z06 on 5/28/15 with only 6,432 miles on the clock, but as fortune has it she needs to go.
Clean CARFAX then and now.
MAINTENANCE: I am an ASE Master Technician. Since owning the car I performed the following: Just mounted, Road Force Balanced and Aligned four new OEM Goodyear F-1 Super Car tires cost $2,235. Installed new correct AC Delco 75 PG Battery, every fluid in the car was exchanged multiple times with GM Dealer sold fluids & the air filter is new. READY TO DRIVE AS A NEW ZO6 !!
PERFORMANCE STATS: There are many sources, these are from a Super Chevy test at English Town, N.J. Zero to 60 ft. time 1.89 sec, Zero to 60 mph 3.9 sec, 1/4 mi time 11.97 @ 118.80 mph, Top Speed 170.9 mph, Skid Pad 1.02 G, Dyno test 363.6 HP @ 5,800 RPM, 353.2 Lbs @ 4,750 RPM at rear wheels. Corrected for 13% power-train loss 424.4 HP with Lbs 412.1, @ the crank.
