1969 Corvette L-88

1969 Corvette triple black L88 replica. This was a numbers matching 427ci 390hp big block car. It had a frame off restoration in 1990 and has only 3000 miles on it. The body was striped and painted, the top was replaced, the trans was rebuilt and has a Hurst super shifter, the rear end was rebuilt with 3;73 gear, and the interior was replaced and has leather seat covers with headrest. All the suspension is new and a solid no hit frame. The block is a #3963512, dated L-15-9, the heads are 3919840 Hi Perf. dated E-6-9, the intake is a Edelbrock Torker with a Holly carb, a Mallory tach drive distributor, and L-88 camshaft by Crane Cams and solid lifters. The block is 030 over with 12:1 compression. The engine was built by Performance Engineering and run on the Dyno with 550hp at 7000 rpm. I have the paper work from Performance on the engine dated 8/31/1990. From 1990 to 1995 the car was driven 3000 miles. it was put in storage in 1995 until 2016 when I recovered it .I wanted it to be safe to drive so I put four new red line BF Goodrich radial tires on, replaced all four calipers, brake hoses,and master cylinder. Also replaced the spark plugs and wires. The mufflers were also replaced. I had a four wheel alignment done and it drives out great. This Corvette came from Omaha, Nebraska in the late 80's and has been in Michigan.
