This 1965 Mustang 289 coupe was originally built in the San Jose, California plant. The 2 door coupe was originally was 4 barrel carburetor. This automatic coupe has a great look as someone has put on a GT 350 style body moldings. We have very limited information on this car but supposedly the engine was just gone through and based upon how the motor looks that statement appears to be true. The vehicle does start and drive we do not recommend anyone attempt to drive this vehicle a great distance home. The exterior is in fair condition and the needs dimples and low spots taken out. The paint sheen is ok the car looks great from 5 feet away. This is not a show car but a great base someone to build from. This vehicle was the owners that he was going to make into a hot rod but a lack of time has forced him to finally sell the car. The interior is in really good condition and it appears that someone has gone through and restored it fairly recently. The vehicle does have some areas of rust which is why we took pictures underneath the car. The vehicle is sold as is and we encourage anyone interested to visit our shop or have the vehicle inspected.
