19k ( yes nineteen thousand) original miles, absolutely Immaculate condition. Garage kept it's whole life, never driven in the winter or even in the rain. All 1999 mustangs were 35th anniversary but only 4286 were equipped withthe "limited edition" package, and only 515 of them were crystal white. It's not sureof the 515 how many were convertibles but I'd imagine less than half. This car is number 67 of the 4628 built.This special rare option was code54Y, this included: special hood scoop, side scoops, different rocker side moldings, polished wheels w/ black inserts, black hood decal, silver/aluminum colored dash & shifter knob, different rear wing, special logo floor mats, silver leather door inserts, silver leather trimmed seats, black honeycomb inserts between rear taillights, and special tinted rear taillights.
This car was purchased 4 years ago from its original owner with around 14k miles. I took the car and built it to be the car I always dreamed of with the best of the best and rare original real Saleen and Roush parts. The speedster cover is a real Saleen part and I believe it's carbon fiber. The wheels are super rare real deal 18x9 and 18x10 Saleen wheels that are much lighter and different offsets that the knock offs available, and fit perfect with 265/35 in front and 295/35's out back. They were originally white from a 2004 Saleen extreme convertible speedster and have been professionally refinished, and still wear the original Saleen center caps. Original special limited edition only wheels are perfect and go with the car still wearing original Goodyear tires.
The front bumper was swapped out with a real Roush urethane cover complete with correct fog lights and all grille inserts. The bumper, speedster cover and the Saleen wheels are the only parts that have been painted. The rest of the car still wears its original factory paint that is in incredible condition. The black convertible top is also original to the car and is in perfect condition and operates correctly. Actually everything on the car works as new, ice cold air conditioning, cruise control, all power windows and locks, gauges and lights.
The suspension is upgraded with ridetech air bags, and Accuair controls, the best parts in the industry. The bags are total bolt in, nothing has been cut or modified and can be converted back to springs easily. The Accuair valves, air tank and compressor all mounted to a custom made plate that fits neatly in the spare tire compartment and can be removed as a whole unit. Countless hours were spent designing, routing wires and pluming this system to be incredibly clean and user friendly as I built this car for myself to enjoy for many years.
Last year I sent the car to KS Automotive performance shop in North Tonawanda Buffalo New York. We removed the engine and completely rebuilt it using only the best components. Over $11,000 in receipts. Brand new set of Ford racing heads were added to the freshly built short block that consisted of a fully balanced all forged rotating assembly. All ARP bolts were used where needed. When reinstalled a dual friction Centerforce clutch and pressure plate were used along with a forged lightweight flywheel. The Paxton supercharger was cleaned, inspected, reinstalled and tuned before the car left for its first test drive. The engine breaths through a Bassani catted x-pipe and Borla cat back, in my opinion the best sounding exhaust you can buy on a mustang 4.6. Less than 1k miles since rebuild. Rear end has Ford racing 4.10 gears and is posi, speedometer has been calibrated.
The interior is in perfect condition, the driver seat is currently a Corbeau GTS || and was put in for personal preference with a few inch lower seating position. I have the original power seat in perfect condition that will come with the car or reinstalled your choice. The rear seats also removed and replaced with a black carpeted rear seat delete kit. Original rear seats also included in almost unused perfect condition. A JVC Bluetooth stereo was installed to complement the factory Mach 460 speakers and sounds amazing, with some help from a JL Audio amplifier connected to an amazing JL Audio 12tw3 small Inclosure subwoofer that resides in a custom downward facing box in the rear seat area.
I can't stress enough how incredibly nice this car is, needs absolutely nothing. If at all interested you really need to see this car in person, pictures can not possibly do it justice. I'm sure I'm forgetting things please call if you have any questions. Just this week I installed brand new calipers, rotors and pads. Flushed the brake fluid, fresh oil change and inspection. Car passes inspection no problems, no ckeck engine lights or any issues. Very unfortunate circumstances forces sale, really love this car and hate to see it go.
