This thing is in unbelievable condition! A true California car and it shows underneath. It has a running and driving Pontiac 400 with automatic. Power steering and power brakes. A car this awesome its mandatory to fill with all your family/friends and cruise. Fortunately it has 4 doors so everyone can jump right in! The chrome is pretty decent and it hardly even leaks.
Just to spruce it up for sellin I laid a single stage two tone paint job. Its not the best but the intention is to let who buys is sand threw in a couple spots to give it that Rat-a-lina patina look. All this thing needs is a couple Mexican blankets over the seats and some black steel wheels.
I replaced everything made of rubber on the brake system. 4 new wheel cylinders, front flex lines, and rear. Flushed the system and added new fluid. Brand new brake shoes on all four corners as well. Its got a brand new cherry bomb and the entire exhaust system is sealed up. I also installed new fan belts. I also did a compression test in all 8 cylinders. 165-170 psi on every hole! So I put on fresh plug wires and cap and rotor. She runs smooth! Also 4 brand new headlights.
There is still a bunch left that could be done but this is a true driving project. Take it straight to the cruise and maybe do some work on it over the winter.
Take a close look at the body mounts, frame, original brake lines, and floor pans. Its better than cars that are only 5 years old from Pittsburgh!!!
