1963 Chevy C10 Longbed- Shop Truck, Farm Truck, Barn Find
This is a two owner 83000 original mile farm truck. It spent its entire life in Zeandale Ks and was driven and parked in a barn in 1984. I purchased the truck and brought it back to life and it runs great and is an honest original truck. The truck is very original and has the 230 inline 6 that runs like a well oiled sewing machine. All the items that need replaced after a truck sits for awhile was completed. New fuel lines, new mono-jet carb, air cleaner, plugs, wires, cap, master cylinder. The truck runs great. Doesn't leak or burn a drop of oil and shifts as it should. Yes I would drive this truck to the coast but I would do 55 the whole way! She still has the original wood floor in good shape. It is not a rust bucket! No rust in the cab corners, frame rails, cab lip, rockers or floor boards! Did have some minor rust in lower front fenders which has been repaired years ago. Someone at some point did some mid level body work. It works for this truck and overall the the truck just looks cool. There are dings and dents... nothing horrible but this was a work truck. The steering on the truck is still tight and it tracks very well down the road. All the gauges work minus the fuel gauge. Even the 'cold engine' light works until the truck is at operating temp! People just love the looks of this truck, I get thumbs up and compliments all the time. Again, just a straight forward honest piece of Americana!
